- both formerly of the Chicago Botanic Garden's public relations team - once again
join creative forces to launch GreenMark Public Relations. Providing media and
public relations services to clients in the "green" and environmental industries,
the award-winning team specializes in promoting green spaces, places and issues.

Press Release Body = Combined, Greenwood and Markgraf have more than 50 years
experience working in partnership with local, regional and national media. Together
at the Chicago Botanic Garden from 2001 to 2006, they were responsible for creating
millions of consumer impressions, effectively increasing awareness of the Garden and
its work from minimal-local to international in just five years.

Their careers include nonprofit, corporate and big-agency experience in agriculture,
horticulture, environmental science, food and gardening, as well as in print and
broadcast reporting and editing. Both have received numerous awards for their work,
including recognition from the Publicity Club of Chicago (PCC) and Garden Writers
Association (GWA).

A 30-year veteran of the communications field with capabilities in many facets of
public relations, including media placement, special events and writing, Greenwood
has worked as an independent media placement strategist since 1982, successfully
completing hundreds of major assignments for such clients as the American Medical
Association, Burson-Marsteller, Chicago Botanic Garden, Hill & Knowlton, Daniel J.
Edelman, Bozell Inc., Golin-Harris, Cramer/Krasselt, Ketchum, Cohn & Wolfe, and the
American Library Association. Projects have included multi-market media tours for
such companies as Pillsbury, Purina, Sunmaid, Culligan, Everready, NutraSweet,
Equal, Procter & Gamble, Lipton, Reddi-Wip, Quaker, ITW and Kraft Foods. Greenwood
lives with her family in Arlington Heights, Ill.

Markgraf is a 25-year veteran of Chicago journalism, with experience in newspapers,
magazines, radio and television. Her public relations expertise is in strategic
planning, media communications and issues management in education, nonprofit,
corporate and agency environments, including with FleishmanT Hillard International
Communications and as director of corporate communications with Dairy Management
Inc. Her background includes business-to-business, news features and lifestyles
reporting for newspapers and magazines. Markgraf serves on the executive board of
PCC and is a co-founder of Chicago Parks and Gardens, a network of public relations
professionals dedicated to increasing national awareness of Chicago as a "green"
tourism destination. She lives with her family in Mundelein, Ill.

In 2006, Markgraf resigned her position as public relations manager with the Chicago
Botanic Garden to launch Sue Markgraf Media & Public Relations. Her work includes
service to Chicago's Green City Market, Chicago Home & Garden Magazine, "Chicago's
Most Entertaining Gardener" Mike Nowak, The Chicago Council of The Garden Club of
America and Madeline Gelis Inc. Interior Design. Together, Greenwood and Markgraf
also represent Pagoda Red, which will launch its Chinese-inspired garden at its
Winnetka location, 902 Green Bay Road, from May 17-20, 2007.
